Money Saving Tips for Ordering T-Shirts

Arma Shirts loves to boast about our Low Prices on our High Quality T-Shirts, however, Low Prices are not the most important aspect to purchasing Promotional Products. We want you to not only be Satisfied with the products you purchase but we want you to be happy with the products you have purchased and the process that it took to purchase such products.

Here are some tips on how to keep prices of T-shirts down:

1) Colored T-Shirts cost more than White T-Shirts and heather Grey T-shirts are cheaper than Colored T-Shirts.

2) When getting shirts made understand that each color represents one screen that must be made to make the shirt. Screens cost money so the more colors you want to have on your shirts, the more expensive the shirts will cost.

3) When you want to have a design on the front and the back, just as colors of the design, each location will require a screen. So if a front and back design is desired, try and reduce the amount of colors in the designs in order to off set costs.

4) Quantities = Savings. Arma Shirts has a suggested minimum of 24 shirts, but think about it, the more products you buy the more that fixed costs, (set up, shipping and artwork) can be spread out to each shirt or product. Some specialty promotional products have higher minimums than others.

5) In order to avoid price increases due to Rush Deliveries order your shirts with at least 7 Business days. This will make it easier on the printers and will avoid a 25% price increase. This price increase is because when orders are rushed they require a faster shipping method for both the products going to the printers and the products being shipped to your door.

6) I always recommend using our graphic designers for doing the artwork. This is because they are professionals. What looks good on paper or on your computer screen may not look that good on a T-Shirt or Promotional Product. But if your art is very simple and you are 100% satisfied with your art design abilities do your own artwork. You must send artwork in Adobe Illustrator format (.ai) and you must convert your design into outlines.

7) Certain brands of T-shirts cost more. Certain tread blends (such as 100% cotton) cost more. Arma Shirts prefers to use Gildan 50/50 blend shirts on all orders because this is a high quality shirt, it comes in a large variety of colors, feels light on and is not over priced.

8) The best way to ensure that you are not paying too much for T-Shirts or Promotional Products is to use ArmaShirts.com

I hope these ordering tips will help you on your quest to purchase promotional products and T-Shirts.

Arma Shirts – More than a T-Shirt company

It is not surprising to find out that having a College Degree more than doubles your annual income. We, ArmaShirts.com, recognize this and understand that only about 25% of the population has such a degree. We want to promote greatness and we want more young adults to choose to continue their education past High School and on to Higher education.

College is important and as new generations will find out it will almost be as necessary as graduating high school. With this increase in demand for higher education the already overpriced college tuition is rising which will prevent some less fortunate young adults from attending a 4 year institution.

The government has grants that help alleviate the high costs, but most middle class, average people are unable to receive them. These grants are truly designed to not help anyone except the extremely poor or the extremely gifted.

When young adults begin their search for colleges and continue their search for funding possibilities they will notice how many ‘scholarships’ are out there. I am aware of one scholarship that you are eligible for just because you are over 6 feet tall, or scholarships can be available to certain ethnic groups just because they are a member of that ethnic group (I am Native American…..I took advantage.) These scholarships are very competitive and although there are several out there, the amount of time and effort it takes to apply and actually be awarded one of these scholarships generally becomes too much.

Well now ArmaShirts.com wants to help out the future of our great nation and global economy by assisting young adults with scholarships for doing nothing more than what they are already doing, getting Custom Shirts and custom products made. ArmaShirts.com is starting their own scholarship.

Each and every school ArmaShirts.com provides products for is eligible to hand out these scholarships and some schools will be able to pass out more than one or one BIG scholarship. ArmaShrits.com is basing this scholarship program on the amount of Custom Products the individual school has purchased from August to April of each school year. After a school has purchased $2,000 worth of T-Shirts and other selected product (this is not that much when you think about it), ArmaShirts.com will begin to give back up to 10% of their profits back to that individual school. The individual school will be able to disburse this money to a graduating senior/s of their choice as long as the graduating senior meets our criteria.

This scholarship is a work in progress and soon the Terms and Conditions will be posted on www.ArmaShirts.com. Check the site out for details.

Long time coming

Arma Shirts is and has always been a great business idea. This company had very little start up costs and has absolutely no overhead costs. We Nathaniel Broughton and Tom Kissell (myself) thought up this business we named the company Brilliant LLC, because at that time we perceived ourselves in that way.

We benged drank in college and worked very hard at SEO for another company and lost all of our focus and dedication to our own personal company ArmaShirts.com. Sure we had success of several large Greek and non-Greek T-Shirt deals and had some opportunities to work with Arma like a real company.

Blinded by all of our then current obligations we looked at Arma as a little dust magnet, like an old toy in your closet that collected dust, but still got played with from time to time. During those rare occasions Arma proved to be very profitable. We are very proud that we brought in Revenues over $30K by working on it for less than one hour a week.

We had dreams of making a lot of money selling funny T-Shirts only to realize that if we wanted to make a lot of money easily that the money would come from Promotional Products and Custom T-Shirts. At this point our company was no longer “Fun” Because work no longer consisted of thinking up a funny slogan or witty design and pressing it on a T-Shirt. Even though this thrill loss, we managed to make money.

Nathaniel, being a year older and wiser, received a great opportunity from our current employer to run a ‘real’ company (one that made it into inc magazine.) As for myself, I could/can not abandon my scholastic ambitions and decided to attend Law School.

Now, along with Law School, ArmaShirts.com is my project. I will make ArmaShirts.com a successful company and I plan on using ArmaShirts.com alone to fund my education.

It is August of 2006 and ArmaShirts.com, a 2 year old company, will be starting an advertising campaign. Our new focus is High Schools across the great state of Missouri. In particular we will be targeting the small schools. Small schools of less than 1000 students that are not conveniently located near a larger city.

The hassle for these small schools to acquire high quality custom products and a cheap rate will no longer be a problem. ArmaShirts.com customizes in custom printed promotional products and custom T-Shirts. We can get designs made by top quality graphic designers. We can get any product or shirt. We can ship products directly to our customers. We can do all this without having to step away from a computer and making 2 phone calls.

We will start with small schools in Missouri and then we will hop from state to state, forming lasting relationships and long-term customers. ArmaShirts.com is back, and it is about time.

arma on thefacebook.com

Tom the pimp is right yo', everyone needs to join the group on thefacebook.com. It's the best way to let everyone else out there know how dope armashirts.com's original t-shirts are. I mean, if the shirts are that funny I'm sure that people just need to find out about them and then we'll all be happy. Happy shirts, laughing about t-shirts all day long. www.armashirts.com

tha beginning 2 - funny t-shirts

So it's rather early in the life of Arma, although for me it seems like it's been forever already. We have accomplished one great feat - obtain boxes of shirts and a large debt. Damn, that is sweet. Anyways, no one cares about that really. Hell, no one is going to care about anything that gets posted up here but that's alright. Here's how this thing will work:

1. We will post funny stories about crap we do.
2. We can talk about shirts.
3. I will attempt to trick Google.

Spray fart? I think so.
